UPDATE: Body found in Waco apartment ruled homicide
WACO, TX (KXXV) – UPDATE: Police say the death of a 41-year-old man found in a Waco apartment has been ruled a homicide.
Police were called to the South Terrace Apartments, located in the 2600 block of S. 14th St., about a suspicious odor on Friday, Dec. 19. Inside the apartment, officers found the body of Tom Oliver Robinson Jr.
According to police, the preliminary autopsy result shows Robinson died from a "violent incident." No further details have been released.
The Waco Police Department is investigating the death of a man found in an apartment Friday morning, in which "foul play" is suspected.
Police say they got a call to check an apartment at South Terrace Apartments, located in the 2600 block of South 14th, because of an odor coming from inside.
Responding officers found a man’s body inside. They say "foul play" is suspected in the death. No further details were released.
Police have identified the body, but are not releasing the name until his family has been notified. The body has been sent for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
